Google launches new Google Safety Center in 8 Indian languages. Online safety of kids and family will be taken care of through user education program. It also launched the Global Be Internet Awesome program for Indian children.
Google also partnered with Indian comic book publisher Amar Chitra Katha. This will explain internet safety in eight Indian languages through comic book characters.
Google will intensify its campaign against abuse areas such as misinformation, fraud, child safety threats, phishing attacks and malware.
The new safety center will be extended to Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil and Gujarati by the end of the year. This will inform Google users about the need for digital safety. It will cover data security, privacy control and online protections.
