MoneyControl has claimed in its report that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be assembled in India and for this Apple is working with its manufacturing partners in India. Apple has been working towards reducing its production from China and increasing it in India for a long time and big investments have also been made for this. This year, for the first time, Apple will manufacture its Pro models in a country other than China.

Production of Pro models will start in Tamil Nadu

There are indications that the production of iPhone 16 Pro models will start in India before the end of the year. It is not that the Pro models made in India will be available for sale at the time of launch, but once the production starts, the phones made in India will be available worldwide. In India, Apple will start the assembly of iPhone 16 Pro models at the Foxconn facility in Tamil Nadu.

The report said that Apple may soon start the 'New Product Introduction' (NPI) process for the Pro models. The new iPhone 16 lineup can be launched in September or October and only after that the mass production of Pro models will be started.
